Warehouse Manager

Core Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules.
• Run MRP and coordinate material availability with Procurement.
• Monitor inventory levels, shortages, and schedule attainment.
• Maintain accurate ERP data including BOMs, yields, lead times, and safety stock.

Warehouse Operations

• Manage receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, and logistics.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO rotation, lot traceability, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and ERP reconciliation.
• Coordinate carriers, dock schedules, shipping documentation, and load accuracy.
• Oversee forklift operations, certifications, and equipment maintenance.

Compliance & Leadership

• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and OSHA standards.
• Lead warehouse and planning teams, including training and scheduling.
• Manage labor costs, overtime, freight spend, and warehouse performance KPIs.
• Support food safety audits and corrective action programs.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of warehouse management, inventory control, and/or production planning experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong ERP and Excel experience.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing environments and food safety programs.
• HACCP certification (or ability to obtain).
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is a plus.
