Technical, Product & Packaging Co-ordinator

The Company. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established, multi-site chilled and frozen food manufacturer supplying the UK’s leading supermarkets with premium food products. Renowned for their commitment to quality, innovation, and food safety, this business is looking for a Technical, Product & Packaging Co-ordinator to join their expanding team. 

The Role. 

In this varied and fast-paced role, you’ll be the technical point of contact for branded product lines, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products. You’ll help maintain due diligence and compliance, coordinate packaging artwork, manage supplier technical data, and support customer enquiries. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate technical and product development for branded products 
• Create and validate packaging artwork and ensure legal compliance 
• Support product launches by working closely with cross-functional teams 
• Manage customer technical queries and complaints 
• Liaise with international suppliers and Port Health where required 
• Conduct product testing, cooking validations and sensory assessments 

People Profile.  

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Food Science or related subject 
• At least 1 year in a similar technical or product development role within the food industry 
• Strong understanding of food labelling legislation 
• Organised and proactive with excellent communication and project management skills
