Exciting Leadership Opportunity in Food Manufacturing

Are you a seasoned operations expert with a passion for driving excellence in a fast-paced FMCG environment? A large and growing food business seeking a dynamic senior leader to take the helm of our bustling production, where you'll shape the future of high-quality food production and inspire a dedicated senior manager team to new heights.

Key Accountabilities.

  • Oversee all aspects of site operations, prioritizing the safety of our people and products while delivering top-tier quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to craft and execute strategic plans that boost site performance and profitability.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leading initiatives to optimize productivity, minimize costs, and enhance processes across manufacturing, engineering, technical, hygiene, and planning functions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring service levels exceed expectations.
  • Manage talent development, from recruitment and training to performance reviews and team motivation, fostering a high-performing workforce.
  • Drive health, safety, and compliance standards, implementing robust systems to maintain a secure and regulatory-compliant workplace.
  • Identify and lead key projects, including cost-saving programs and capital investments, to propel the site forward.

People Profile.

  • A proven leader with at least 5 years' experience in a senior manufacturing, factory, or operations role within FMCG, ideally in food production.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering cultural change through team engagement and motivation.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of managing budgets, profitability, and performance metrics.
  • Essential qualifications: IOSH Safety Certificate, Advanced Food Hygiene, and HACCP certification.
  • Experience leading large teams and navigating health & safety regulations in an industrial setting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
