Senior Project Engineer

to $160,000 + bonus + benefits

This is an exciting new role with a leading food & beverage manufacturing company with multiple facilities based across the world - this role is based at their location on Long Island, NY.

As part of the ongoing expansion plans, they are now seeking to bring on board a talented and experienced Senior Project Engineer to bring core Process & Mechanical Engineering capability to the forefront of their operation, finding solutions for problems and opportunities within a multi-functional work environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for optimization of existing production processes and validation of new processes, including ongoing improvement and Capex.
  • Development & evaluation of processes - Participates in the evaluation and optimization of existing processes with overall project monitoring by Manager to maximize product performance, product consistency as well as plant efficiency.
  • Lead suitable process projects, taking responsibility for on-budget and timely completion using both internal and external skills and resources.
  • Manage and direct specific process performance investigation, liaising with key stake holders across the global business, preparing reports and conducting presentations and maintaining accurate records for future projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Proven progressive experience in Project/Process Engineering roles with extensive experience in food production, pharmaceutical, CPG or chemicals industry.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical/PLC and process knowledge understanding.
