The Role

Working as part of the NPD team, you’ll support the end-to-end development of new food products — ensuring they meet exacting safety, quality, and brand standards. From blue sky ideas through to post-launch reviews, your contribution will help shape the future of food-on-the-go.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead product development through trials, launches and beyond
• Ensure all ingredient and product data is accurate and compliant
• Liaise with manufacturing partners to bring concepts to life
• Conduct product sampling, shelf-life and sensory evaluations
• Generate clear, legally compliant product labelling and documentation
• Communicate progress with internal stakeholders and customers
• Attend factory trials and manage launch activity across the UK and Ireland
• Support sustainability efforts by minimising waste and promoting ESG initiatives
• Track market trends and share insights with the wider innovation team

Person Profile

• BSc in Food Science, Technology or related subject
• Previous experience in NPD/process within FMCG
• Strong knowledge of UK food legislation and labelling requirements
• Experience working across multiple food manufacturing sites
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
• Able to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Comfortable using a range of software systems and data tools
• Full UK driving licence required
