Our client is a leading food manufacturing company that is looking to bring on board a Process Engineer to provide coordination and management support for process and packaging engineering design . What we are looking for you to do:
- Implement/ commission services and maintenance support of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Develop equipment and service specifications, generate request for proposals, evaluate and select both equipment and service vendors.
- Equipment specification, process design, and process development/improvement
- Identify equipment requirements to improve productivity and meet capacity increases as necessary.
- Identify, promote, and coordinate implementation of best practices across all facilities and assist facilities with problem-solving and troubleshooting operational problems.
- Assist facilities with OEM equipment evaluations.
- Lead multi-functional teams of internal employees, direct and manage contractors and other outside engineering third party providers.
- Assist with review of production data routinely to ensure accuracy and to analyze for improvements throughout the processing facilities.
- Use AutoCAD and other software tools to review and design line layouts, line modifications and concept drawings.
- Actively develop and manage cost-reduction projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Min 5+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing facilities required.
- 3+ years of high speed food manufacturing experience required.
- Secondary education (BA) in Engineering required.
- Valid passport and clean drivers abstract required.
- Clear criminal back check required.
