Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, an industry leader is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the troubleshooting process and to execute effective preventative maintenance programs. In this exciting position you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure efficient plant operations. What we are looking for you to do:

• Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work, assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment.
• Maintain the inventory, work order system, and work schedule for the maintenance team.
• Work on developing the training programs and maintaining the health and safety programs.
• Drafting maintenance reports and preventative maintenance programs.
• Assume a leadership role in the program of health and safety.
• Supervise, lead and motivate the team to achieve and exceed goals.
• Delegate, set expectations, mentor and monitor progress of all direct reports.
• Prepare reports on Health and Safety activities.
• Encourage process improvements in maintenance and operations with all involved parties.
• Take part in decisions related to improvements.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years experience in maintenance leadership in CPG/ Food or beverage manufacturing sector required.
• Post-Secondary Education in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Trade Certification required.
• Afternoon shifts required 2pm-10pm.
• Experience working in a cold/ wet environment.
