A successful international food business is looking for a commercially sharp Business Development Manager to grow retail distribution across key European markets.
This role focuses on winning new listings and building strategic retail partnerships across France, Germany and Scandinavia. The client supplies branded and private label products into major European retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
Secure listings with major European retailers
Lead negotiations on pricing, margins and JBPs
Develop branded and private-label strategies
Work cross-functionally to ensure successful launches
Produce market insight, forecasting and competitor analysis
Skills & Experience:
7+ years in European retail sales or retail buying roles
Strong understanding of EU grocery retail
Demonstrable success in gaining listings
Fluent English plus French or German required
Willingness to travel across Europe
