Web and Stock Operative

Our client is an incredibly luxurious desserts business whose growing range and wider exposure in major retailers has increased their popularity. The company has great ambition and is expanding its operation across weekends and late shift manufacturing. The business produces a range of fine desserts for a well-established customer base. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for supporting the management of stock and warehousing.

Job Role
Supporting the Warehouse Manager in smooth running of warehouse including download and packing of orders, logging of receipt and dispatch of raw materials and products
Working closely with the Warehouse manager, Team Leaders Technical Team and other departments as necessary

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be need to have experience in the key areas below:
• Responsible for downloading, picking and packing orders and samples
• Completing relevant traceability documents accurately and in real-time
• Work to sufficient speed to ensure orders are ready in time
• Assists with inspecting and logging in deliveries as well as regular stock checks
• Stock control during pre-determined schedule including use by date and rotation compliance
• Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned to you from time to time
• Following clean as you go practices and cleaning your area at the end of each task
• Adhere to company policies relating to Health and Safety when reporting accidents or near miss incidents and have a general awareness for H&S in the workplace
• Adhere to the company’s procedures on ensuring food safety culture at all times
• Once trained, you will be responsible for handling relevant Control Points and Critical Control
• Points under supervision of management
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene

Personal Profile
• Proven experience in managing stock
• Computer literate and ability to learn new systems
• Excellent attention to detail and time keeping skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
• Team player and flexible to cover other areas of work as required
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines

Hours
Monday to Friday 9:00-17:30
1 in 4 Saturdays or Sundays

Salary
£26k-£28k per annum
