A dual role split between specification generation and technical administration. The role will assist the Technical and QA managers with daily compliance.

Formed from a long-established farming and butchery family, the business is expanding their technical department due to substantial growth. Now operating from a purpose built BRC accredited site, they create and produce award winning fresh and frozen bespoke meals. They have heavily invested over the past six months in preparation for the increase in volume and the time is now right to recruit a Technical Specifications/Administrator to join the team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensuring compliance of the QMS system
  • Generate in-house product specifications
  • Labels and packaging artwork
  • Daily documentation updates and archiving
  • liaising between, technical, production and sales, ensuring all critical paths and timescales are met on time and in full

Person Profile

  • Previous experience completing technical specifications
  • Food related qualifications
  • Operating within the guidelines of BRCGS and customer standards
  • Has knowledge of TACCP & VACCP and supplier approval requirements
  • Able to demonstrate areas of organisational skills
  • Can accommodate part-time (pro rata) or two days per week home working
