Sr. Quality & Regulatory Specialist

Up to $90,000 + benefits + bonus + RRSP

Hybrid- Brampton, Ontario

Our client, a leading company, is looking for a Sr. Regulatory Affairs/ Quality Specialist to manage, and drive the company’s regulatory department. What we are looking for:

  • Experience monitoring regulatory agencies and publications.
  • Collect waste manifests and maintain the records according to MOE regulations.
  • Ensure product label requests are processed and delivered to clients in a timely fashion.
  • Create overall regulatory strategy and implement plans for FDA, CFIA, and Health Canada applications.
  • Work with Quality team and the company’s SOP, GMP, HACCP, regulatory and quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Continual assessment of existing compliance management systems.
  • Create and update New Product Assessments for Canadian Regulatory compliance in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to write SDS and labels that correctly reflect requirements under WHMIS and Kosher requirements.

 

Experience and qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food or Nutrition Science, or a related subject required
  • Strong knowledge of methodologies of regulatory affairs in the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors
  • Working knowledge of regulatory processes in the USA and Canada
