As part of their growth, this leading supplier of nutritional ingredients and high-quality raw materials to the sports nutrition, food & beverage and health & wellbeing industries is recruiting for a Sales Manager in the Benelux, Scandinavia, Germany region.
Key Accountabilities
It is a specialist position and suitable candidates will be currently active in selling within these regions and have at least 3 years experience in selling ingredients such as amino acids, supplements, botanicals, vitamins and minerals. This is an ideal role for someone looking to drive forward sales across the territory and develop new business within this exciting and innovative ingredients sector. You will be responsible for building your accounts through proactive and planned development of the business.
This is a home-based sales role with extensive travel across Europe. You will need to be able to develop strong relationships and have not just good sales skills, but also excellent listening skills to be able to act upon the needs of the business. You will have the drive and tenacity to manage projects, that are often complex, through to completion. You will likely have extensive experience of managing key accounts, and this will be a great advantage to applicants. The successful candidate will have an excellent and current understanding of the commercial side of the raw materials market.
You will be working closely with colleagues in purchasing, logistics, marketing, finance and HR, so a collaborative mindset is required. A fast-paced company, there is a real can-do attitude among the employees and the potential to grow and develop is very exciting.
Personal Profile
It is essential to have a minimum of 3 years experience in sales within the nutraceutical ingredients industry
Strong understanding of the Benelux market dynamics and customer base
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relations
An organised individual with a level of independence and professionalism
Strong proven experience in driving projects through from concept to fruition
Able to deliver a good quality of service for customers
Highly developed negotiation and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet and exceed targets
Bilingual, with fluency in English and at least one other European language
Flexibility, this role is home office based and will require travel for customer visits, events, and meetings
