Protect & maintain the production of safe food products to maintain the company’s reputation for high standards of product quality
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the technical and quality function for the site Control manufacturing specifications, operational specifications & labels
- Manage raw material, packaging & finished product information including raw material & manufacturing specifications, allergens & nutritional information
- Ensure product quality, production standards & site hygiene through auditing & training Take responsibility for reviewing & updating the site Quality Management System.
- Develop & implement documented quality management system to ensure & demonstrate compliance with legal, statutory & customer requirements & industry best practice with respect to food safety, quality & labelling.
- Assist with major retailer, customer & 3rd party site technical visits/audits
- Maintain BRC & organic accreditation
- Review & maintain HACCP as HACCP team leader
Skills and Qualifications
- Food Science or related qualification, ideally degree qualified
- 2 years experience in a Quality or Technical function within the Food Industry
- Experience of working with BRC
- Full Driving License
