The role

Protect & maintain the production of safe food products to maintain the company’s reputation for high standards of product quality


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical and quality function for the site Control manufacturing specifications, operational specifications & labels
  • Manage raw material, packaging & finished product information including raw material & manufacturing specifications, allergens & nutritional information
  • Ensure product quality, production standards & site hygiene through auditing & training Take responsibility for reviewing & updating the site Quality Management System.
  • Develop & implement documented quality management system to ensure & demonstrate compliance with legal, statutory & customer requirements & industry best practice with respect to food safety, quality & labelling.
  • Assist with major retailer, customer & 3rd party site technical visits/audits 
  • Maintain BRC & organic accreditation
  • Review & maintain HACCP as HACCP team leader

Skills and Qualifications

  • Food Science or related qualification, ideally degree qualified
  • 2 years experience in a Quality or Technical function within the Food Industry
  • Experience of working with BRC
  • Full Driving License
