Our client based in Enfield are seeking a Production Chef to join their fantastic team on a full time contracted basis. The client preps, cooks and delivers a fantastic range of custom meal prep to suit a variety of dietary needs, and are branching out with the industry and working with some fantastic customers.
Annual Salary:
£33,280 - £36,400 DOE
40 hours p/week Tuesday to Saturday
About You
The ideal candidate will be proficient and trained to a high level as a Sous Chef with knowledge in food safety, hygiene and handling of perishable goods
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Food Production and Catering (desirable)
• Understanding of HACCP, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety requirements.
• Experience of SALSA accreditation and seeing a business acquire and maintain this (desired)
• Analytical and business minded able to compile effective business plans and solutions.
• Experience of own initiative working at pace and with a high level of accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with multiple departments and customers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Duties:
• Assisting the Head Chef with menu plans and prepping of orders to ensure maximum produce
• Acting in a supervisory position to other kitchen staff members
• Supporting in the change of the business needs and supporting of the vision of the owners and implementing changes
• Upholding of high food standards and hygiene and demonstrating this on a daily basis to be a role model to the team
