Process Technologist/Engineer

Key Accountabilities

Your role will be to develop and improve products and processes and to promote a continuous improvement culture. Providing technical support and training to other departments as required, you will also liaise with customers and manage product trials. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will assist with managing the factory equipment, scale up of products at pilot plant level and ensure all the relevant process documentation is in place and up to date. You might also assist the QA team in investigating customer complaints and non-conformances.

Personal Profile

• Degree qualified in Natural Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Food related degree
• Proven Industry Experience
• Good theoretical and practical knowledge of distillation and extraction and associated processes
• Previous supervisory or management skills would be valuable
• Able to manage own projects independently
• Creative, innovative and good problem solving skills
• Passionate about the food industry
