Logistics Supervisor

We have a brand NEW opportunity working for a fantastic fragrance business. A new vacancy for a Logistics Supervisor has become available at our client based in London who are passionate and creative organisation.

Job Role
Logistics Supervisor plays a key role in the Company and ensures that our all Customers receive their orders in a timely fashion and all queries are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities
• Managing Third Party Logistics warehouses in UK and in Europe
• Processing sales orders according to the company’s order-entry system
• Ensuring all sales orders are fulfilled and dispatched within 48 hours
• Communicating incidents to clients and sales reps
• Liaising with clients to ensure their delivery requirements and KPIs are achieved
• Raising stock purchase orders and organising inbound deliveries from supplier’s factory to maintain optimum stock levels
• Managing freight forwarders’ and negotiate rates
• Handling international shipping processes, including all relevant paperwork in line with existing requirements
• Producing customs documents in accordance with regulations and clients’ requirements
• Create and maintain internal logistics procedures
• Document shipping procedures per country in line with ever-changing legislation and client’s requirements
• Maintain effective communication with all parties internal and external

Personal Profile
• Experience in an international import and export role
• Open personality with a “can do attitude”
• Sound knowledge of current international shipping procedures and customer/registration processes
• Strong numerical and Excel skills
• Solid presentation skills and writing skills
• Great communicator
• Knowledge of SAGE 50 is highly beneficial
• Knowledge of French is highly beneficial
