Internal Account Manager

A leading chemical distributor, based in Leeds, our client supplies an extensive portfolio of speciality products for an increasing variety of industrial applications.  Exciting opportunity for an internal sales professional to provide excellent customer service for existing and prospective clients, in a consultative sales process.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

Contribute to the delivery of targets, cash flow and budgets using company sales procedures

Provide support to the account managers

Input and maintain data to ensure effective and efficient customer service.

Manage group sales campaigns

Actively pursue additional sales opportunities

Liaise with other departments to ensure in full and on time targets are met

Liaise with other members of the sales department to maximise sales opportunities

Liaise with other departments for supplying and procuring stock

Liaise with other departments to solve customer complaints related to sales.

 

Personal Profile

Previous experience in a similar support role within the chemical industry beneficial

Experience in a customer facing role

Knowledge of selling principles

Ability to organize the day-to-day operation of the internal sales functions

Ability to develop and maximize a profit driven environment

Manage people through effective customer service skills

Problem solve

Ability to prioritise, delegate and monitor

Communicate well with all interfaces and relationships

MS Packages

Must have some sales support, order processing or sales/account management experience

Excellent communicator

Professional manner
