The role

Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for recruitment, management, motivation and training of the Hygiene team.
- To ensure all cleaning is carried out to the highest quality, consistency and food safety standards appropriate for a High Risk environment.
- Maintain and develop the company’s hygiene documentation to meet customer and auditing bodies’ requirements and ensure that all required documentation is completed and returned to the Technical Manager.
- Ensure compliance to hygiene standards and review relevant documentation with the auditors during customer, regulatory and site internal hygiene audits.
- To maintain high finished standards in all areas of the site To monitor the use and concentration of chemicals during cleaning
Qualifications and Skills
- You must have previous experience as a Hygiene Supervisor within a chilled Food Manufacturing environment
- HACCP Level 3 and COSHH Level 3 required
- Ideally Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3 qualified
- Listeria, Micro, and chemical control awareness knowledge
- An understanding of BRC or large retailer audits is preferred
