Job purpose
 
  • To assist the Engineering Manager in making sure machinery and equipment runs smoothly and effectively. To complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Duties and Responsibilities
  • · Finding and fixing faults  
  • · Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule 
  • · Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns 
  • · Carrying out scheduled preventative checks on machinery and parts 
  • · Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance 
  • · Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings 
  • · Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation 
  • · Managing stocks of supplies and equipment 
  • · Escort contractors to place of work and assist when needed, making sure all appropriate paperwork has been implemented, and contractors are correctly attired before maintenance begins.
