To assist the Engineering Manager in making sure machinery and equipment runs smoothly and effectively. To complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Finding and fixing faults
· Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule
· Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns
· Carrying out scheduled preventative checks on machinery and parts
· Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
· Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
· Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
· Escort contractors to place of work and assist when needed, making sure all appropriate paperwork has been implemented, and contractors are correctly attired before maintenance begins.
