International Technical Manager (Part-time 22.5 hrs)

Up to £37k + bonus + package

London Hybrid

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to ensure global operations meet the highest standards of technical compliance, with a focus on supplier approval, customer documentation, and setting international restaurant processes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successful supplier management and negotiation, be cross-culturally sensitive and be an adept problem-solver. Using your regulatory compliance knowledge, you will maintain accuracy and organisation to ensure that information provided to customers is correct, clear, and easily accessible.  

Key accountabilities

  • Assess and approve suppliers according to the international operations risk assessment criteria
  • Use management skills, analytical proficiency, and decisive decision-making to ensure the selection of reliable suppliers vital to global operations
  • Enforce accuracy and transparency in customer communications relating to nutrition and allergen information
  • Oversee the process of integrating product specifications into client data systems
  • Standardise procedures for operations in international restaurants by developing and implementing a set of uniform procedures
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet international compliance standards
  • Monitor and advocate for ethical compliance across all international supply partners
  • Lead initiatives to elevate quality standards in global operations by spearheading projects aimed at training and development
  • Systematically audit international suppliers to ensure that they are adhering to safety and quality standards

Person Profile

  • Previous experience in food service, retail, or manufacturing
  • Flexible and available to travel internationally as and when required
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for food, sustainability, and a commitment to meeting customer needs
  • In-depth knowledge of HACCP, quality procedures, and food safety practices
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
  • Pro-active, detail oriented and an adept problem solver
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
