Operations Manager

Our client within the Food Industry are looking for an experienced Operations Manager on a 3 Month FTC (Outside of IR35) to join a new business within their group.

Overview of role

• To have responsibility for all aspects of production, staff and site standards.

• Fulfilling customer service levels and ensuring production schedules are met on time.

• Optimising product yields, minimising waste / giveaway and achieving target OEE / efficiencies.

• To oversee successful product launches.

• Ensuring product quality meets QAS standards agreed with customers.

• To lead weekly and monthly reviews of site performance / P+L with IFG leadership team.

Key Skills

• Proven track record as Manufacturing Manager, Factory Manager or Operations Manager level within Food production environment.

• Experience of working to BRCGS standard

• Commercial awareness

• Advanced Food Hygiene and HACCP Certificate

• Experience of managing and leading teams.

• Good standard of written and oral communication in English.

• Knowledge of industry related Health and Safety requirements.
